Happy Series

My Happy Series is a venture into uncharted territory for me. Through an exploration of  scale, texture, watercolour-like applications of fluid acrylic then layers of transparent and opaque acrylic paint a picture emerges and takes on a life of its own.

 

It is a combination of loose, extremely fun play, followed by a systematic discovery of negative and positives shapes.  

 

What has evolved has made me very happy.
